Right next to the Port of Limon, the Tortuguero canals start.
From a motorboat, we will go to meet its inhabitants:
these Mangroves are the living space of 3 species of monkeys, 2 species of sloths, caimans, crocs, the famous basilisk lizard (it runs on the water) as well as countless species of birds.
The safari boat will last 1h 30min.
After this unforgettable experience we will head south, along the beautiful and exuberant Caribbean coast to the village of Cahuita, where the National Park of the same name is located.
The path runs along the sea, generally under the shade of trees, after a 1.5 km hike during which we will surely see a large number of its inhabitants, such as monkeys, sloths, raccoons, iguanas, etc.
You can relax and swim in the sea if you feel like it.
At the entrance to the park, showers, toilets and changing cabins will be at your disposal.
